Syllabus
The San Method is quite unique and different from the rest of Improv techniques that you’ve heard of. With my knowledge and experience in performance art, I have come up with a pathway that helps entertainers such as actors, dancers, and singers communicate their message more efficiently. The method, however, can be used by people in the business world such as public speakers, salespeople, and customer representatives.
The San Method is the only coaching in the world that offers simultaneously writing, drawing, dancing, acting, and singing exercises adapted to your own real-life needs.
Whether you are in arts or business, you need self-confidence and assertiveness to deliver a good experience to your audience. And this is what the method helps you achieve.
The San Method also offers relationship bonding. Human relations are complex and communication often leads to misunderstanding. When we create together, this can be liberating and empower extraordinary results.
Structure
The San Method Certificate is supported by the Entertainment Engineering LAB (LEE) at COPPE-UFRJ located in Brazil. Throughout the partnership with LEE, we were able to enrich this method with:
- Entertainment Engineering and Communication tips
- Dance, Theatre, Music, and Visual arts techniques
- Brainstorming, Storytelling, Body Language, and Visual communication practices
- Principles from Cognitive Ergonomics, Theory of Argumentation, Commedia dell’Arte, Ethnomusicology, Visual Anthropology, Moving meditation and Bioenergetics
Level I - Sensory Awareness
Review your career, recognize your skills, list your hobbies, and set up a playful scenario to embody all your dreams.
This level is ideal for people with any kind of know-how, wanting to integrate better professional life and personal goals.
Level II - Personal Branding

This level is ideal for people who need to improve their communication to show how original and valuable they are.
Level III - Wellness
Plan an interaction, identify connections and contexts, find a channel, count on others and grow in alignment with your network.
This level is ideal for people in need of repositioning in a group or wanting to contribute better to a social change.
Level IV - Trust
Review your behaviors, recognize your limits, list your needs and develop trust in others.
This level is ideal for people who depend on others to move forward professionally or that are engaged in private situations of mutual responsibility.

We have something in common
The reason why I came up with the San Method, over a decade ago, was personal – the desire to accomplish my work-life balance goals while still having a career in a demanding profession, which was in entertainment executive production.
Feeling that this could be useful for others too, I started giving improv classes and formed my performing arts group. But as time went by I realized that my students and I, despite coming from different backgrounds, were facing the same problem.
So, I slowly transitioned from being a performance teacher and art director to a coach, helping people discover and build their life and career purpose.
Hope you’ll enjoy learning more about this unique approach to Improv. Book up to one drop-in session, check our meet-ups agenda, or schedule a whole program. And discover that creativity is something we all need to live and work happier.
